Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has addressed the Pune Porsche accident, stating he has been in touch with the Pune police commissioner since the incident occurred and emphasized that the law is equal for all.

His comments follow Congress’ Maharashtra President Nana Patole’s call for the resignation of Shinde and his deputies, alleging a nexus between the police, politicians, and the wealthy.

Shinde assured that no preferential treatment would be given and strict action would be taken regardless of the individual’s influence or wealth.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has promised strict action against all involved in the Pune Porsche accident case, stressing that even influential individuals will not be spared.

Shinde mentioned the arrest of Dr. Ajay Tawade and Dr. Hari Harnor from Sasoon Hospital, accused of swapping the teenager’s blood samples with a doctor’s.

Additionally, peon Atul Ghatkamble, who allegedly facilitated a Rs. 3 lakh bribe from the realtor’s family to the doctors, was also arrested.

On May 19, a 17-year-old celebrating his Class 12 results in Pune fatally struck two IT professionals, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, while driving underage and intoxicated.

Initially granted bail, public outrage led to his detention in a remand home until June 5. His father and grandfather are in police custody.
